I am trained in trauma-informed care and incorporate various techniques such as mindfulness and strengths-based approaches into my work. I recognize that each individual has their own unique experience, and I strive to foster collaborative relationships that honor those experiences. Together We will discover your full potential by exploring new perspectives and developing practical coping strategies in a space where you will be truly heard. I aim to help you discover your strengths and address any challenges so you feel empowered in your daily life. Each session is a collaborative space where we learn from one another. I might ask questions to clarify your thoughts, encourage reflection on patterns, or simply be there to listen when you need to talk things out. Together, we’ll create a safe and supportive environment that meets your needs in the moment.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York, New Jersey, and Florida (telehealth), with over a decade of experience in the field. My journey to becoming a therapist felt like a natural progression for me. From a young age, I’ve had positive experiences with therapy that showed me how powerful support can be, and I want to help others find that same comfort. I am trained in trauma-informed care as well as dementia care, and I utilize a range of modalities, including mindfulness and strengths-based approaches, in my practice." The relationships I’ve built as a social worker and supervisor have deepened my commitment to providing compassionate therapy, and I’m excited to continue this empowering work.

When life feels uncertain or overwhelming, I am here to remind you that you do not have to face these feelings on your own. I am committed to creating a safe space for you to process, heal, and grow from any challenges you might be facing. My scope of practice includes working with adults of all ages who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and burnout. I specialize in supporting older adults and caregivers facing grief and loss, caregiver fatigue, and complex family dynamics. Each session is a collaborative process where we learn from one another, allowing you to reflect, heal, and work through whatever challenges you might be facing. I am here to guide you through this journey of self-discovery that will lead to a deeper understanding of oneself and lasting change.

I specialize in supporting older adults and caregivers facing issues such as grief and loss, caregiver fatigue, complex family dynamics, and intergenerational trauma. I have specifically dedicated a large part of my career working with individuals experiencing memory loss. I am passionate about providing an opportunity for individuals to focus on their own wellbeing.

Grief & Loss Grief is a deeply personal experience that varies from person to person. There is no set timeframe or "right" way to grieve the loss of a loved one. While this understanding can be both reassuring and overwhelming, you don’t have to navigate this process alone. In our sessions, you will find a safe, non-judgmental space to reflect on your feelings, cope with your emotions, and move through grief at your own pace. As someone who lost a parent at a young age, I am familiar with the different stages of grief and the ways it evolves over time. I want to help others feel more comfortable with the grieving process. Together, we can manage the symptoms associated with grief and work toward integrating it into your daily life, making it feel less overpowering and more manageable.

Caregiver Support Being a caregiver often means putting others' needs first, leaving little time for self-care—and this can lead to feelings of burnout. I provide caregivers with a supportive space to focus on their own well-being. Together, we can explore the complexities of your caregiving relationships and how they impact you. We’ll discuss effective strategies to incorporate self-care into your daily routine, helping you recharge and rejuvenate. When caregivers prioritize their own well-being, they not only enhance their quality of life but also improve the care they provide to those who depend on them.

Aging Support Therapy Aging is a natural part of life that everyone experiences, but it can often bring physical, mental, and emotional challenges. I am here to help you navigate these difficulties and reframe this chapter of your life in a more positive light. Whether you’re facing retirement, changes in your living situation, or feeling limited in your ability to perform daily tasks, we can work together to discover ways to embrace your independence.

*I pay special attention to individuals in the early stages of cognitive impairment. With a strong background in memory loss, I understand the unique challenges that can arise during this time. Additionally, I am knowledgeable about various resources that can support you in maintaining your daily routine and enhancing your quality of life.

Holocaust Survivors/Second and Third Generation Holocaust Survivors With over eight years of experience working with Holocaust survivors and their families, along with my personal connection as the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, I possess a deep understanding of how past experiences of Holocaust Survivors can profoundly impact present-day life. I am dedicated to addressing critical topics such as intergenerational trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex family dynamics, Jewish identity, and more. My approach is always trauma-informed, recognizing the unique challenges faced by Holocaust survivors and their loved ones. I assist with meaning-making from their experiences, providing a compassionate environment for healing and understanding.

Sessions are provided virtually through a video platform. The platform is HIPAA compliant, and I will walk you through the steps of joining your session to make it a seamless process. I am licensed to see individuals residing in New Jersey, New York and Florida (telehealth).

Yes! I am currently in-network with Aetna and United Healthcare insurance. We can clarify your co-pay and deductible when getting started, and you can always call your insurance company directly to confirm.

In this case I would be seen as an “out of network” provider. I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking if you have out-of-network benefits and can be reimbursed for a percentage of the session cost. I can provide you with further guidance during our consultation call. I can still see you at my full-rate even without out-of-network benefits.

If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, you are kindly asked to do so with at least 48 hours' notice. There will be an $85 charge for any cancellations within the 48-hour period unless the session can be rescheduled for a different time within the same week.

Therapy sessions are about 50 minutes. Intake sessions tend to be closer to 1 hour.

Individual sessions are $200, couples sessions are $275, and a sliding scale is available for those who qualify.

Following the implementation of the No Surprises Act on January 1, 2022 Health care providers are required by law to give uninsured and self-pay patients a good faith estimate (GFE) of costs for services that they offer when scheduling care, or when the patient requests an estimate. I will provide a GFE document showing the costs of services that are reasonably expected to address your mental health care needs. For further information, please check out https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
