For the past 23 years, I’ve focused on a broad range of trust and estate planning services, including wills, trusts, guardianship, probate and estate administration. My specialization also includes Elder law, Medicaid, long-term care asset protection and high net worth estate tax planning. I’m an Executive Committee member of the New York State Bar Association's Elder Law and Special Needs Section and an active member of the Trusts and Estate Section of the New York State Bar Association and Richmond County Bar Association. I take great pride in my client relationships which, combined with my compassion, strong ethics, and legal knowledge, enable me to guide and educate clients through complex legal and long-term care matters. Danielle serves clients in Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Westchester and Nassau County. Me and my staff are honored to help guide you through challenging times, easing the burden of difficult decisions.
My interest in this area of the law stems from personal experience of how my work can impact my client's lives by making a difference during their most difficult of times. I grew up watching my mother care for her grandfather for almost 20 years and then I myself became a caretaker for her own parents. Through these personal experiences, I witnessed the wisdom that age brings and learned to treasure that special quality of elders. My work as an elder law and estate planning attorney builds on that life experience of empathy with client needs and a highly developed legal expertise. I coupled these two strengths - life experience to empathize with my clients and the legal expertise to serve them - to provide comprehensive services. I live with her family in Staten Island, New York and can often be found with her husband, Jason, cheering on her older son, Colin, on the golf course or her younger son, Aidan, on stage and on the soccer field. I love spending time with my family enjoying all the fun activities that NYC has to offer, hiking in the beautiful mountains of NY, relaxing on the beach or simply walking with their dog, Peach.

Advance directives name an agent and express your medical and financial wishes if you're unable to decide. Without them, a court-appointed guardian may take over your care.
- Tells others how to care for you if you can't decide for yourself.

Navigating probate and estate administration can be difficult during a time of loss. Our law firm offers experienced, compassionate guidance through every step. Whether you're an executor handling estate duties or a beneficiary seeking clarity, we’re here to help. We handle Surrogate’s Court filings, Will validation, asset distribution, estate taxes, and disputes with both empathy and efficiency—always with the goal of honoring the decedent’s wishes and meeting legal obligations.
Probate Administration
Probate is the court-supervised process of managing and distributing an estate when there’s a valid Will. This includes validating the Will, identifying assets, paying debts and taxes, and distributing what’s left to beneficiaries. We help executors through every step.
- The probate process manages and distributes assets according to the Will.
- We support executors with legal and administrative responsibilities.
Probate without a Will (Intestacy)
When someone dies without a Will, the court appoints an administrator to handle the estate under state intestacy laws. This process can be complex and must follow strict legal standards. We help administrators secure assets, follow the law, and complete the distribution.
- We guide estate distribution according to state law when no Will exists.
- We support court-appointed administrators throughout the process.
Trust Administration
Trust administration involves managing and distributing trust assets according to the trust document and legal requirements. It doesn't involve court oversight but still requires care and legal diligence. We help trustees carry out their roles and avoid disputes.
- We manage trust administration based on the trust’s terms.
- We advise trustees on their responsibilities and legal compliance.
Trustee/Fiduciary Assistance
Trustees and fiduciaries must act in the best interest of beneficiaries or the person they serve. Mistakes can lead to legal risk. We support fiduciaries—like trustees or agents under a power of attorney—to fulfill their duties and avoid liability.
- We assist fiduciaries with managing duties and responsibilities.
- We help avoid legal issues and ensure proper asset or trust management.
